After obtaining a degree in Architecture at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Francisco completed a course in Theatre Design at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating with Distinction in the year 2000. 

Having worked as a Costume Assistant on the series Teachers for Channel 4 Television, his stage credits include: Spring Awakening (QEH Bristol), The Beggar's Opera (WNYO), the World Premiere of Daydreaming by Tim Arthur (Man in the Moon), When We Are Married (Bristol Old Vic, at the Theatre Royal), Miss Julie (Bristol Old Vic, The Basement) and The School For Scandal (Redgrave Theatre, Bristol),  Robin Hood (National Theatre, Loft), Anyone can Whistle (Bridewell Theatre, London), A Dangerous Woman (Jermyn Street Theatre), Falstaff (RNT Cottesloe, Platform Performance), Immaculate Conceit (Lyric Hammersmith Studio), Amadigi (Iford Manor), Life After George (Vienna’s English Theatre and Frankfurt’s English Theatre), Alice (Touring Show, Netherlands) and worked as a set design developer on the musical  The Three Musketeers (Theatre des Westen, Berlin), Who Killed Mr.Drum (Riverside Studios), Othello, Spiel Im Berg (Young Actors Teatre) and Fefu, her Friends (MMU, Manchester), world premiere and national tour of Watercolours, L’Heure Espagnole (RNCM) and L’Enfant et les sortileges (RNCM).

Since 2006 he has been working as the Creative Manager for “The Admirable Crichton” designing events and parties in the UK and abroad.

In 2005 Francisco launched Theatre-Design.com through wich he hopes to create and promote partnerships with other designers and professionals in all aspects of theatrical  production.
