Beggars Opera

This was a production for the Welsh National Youth Opera. The approach for the opera was a very traditional one. This was due to the fact that the original version by Gay was very much rooted in a specific historical event and many of the arias make direct reference to it. It was therefore decided to keep the atmosphere of the time.
