The pictures shown here are of the technical rehearsal and the set was still unfinished and can be seen by the missing clock faces. The ones on the set are to hide doors on the set.

The opera takes place in 21 scenes, introduction and a finale in the workshop of clockmaker Torquemada in Toledo

This set was to work along side another one that was sitting just behind. I created levels with the door’s landing and balcony which in turn provided obstacles for when the clocks where to be moved around. this added to the funny side of the situation.
the pendulums moved adding action and sense of time passing to the situation as the whole action is meant to take place in one hour.
